Why Consider Vinyl?
Why Consider Vinyl?
Vinyl involves a plotter cutting the design from a roll of material before it is applied with a heat press on to the garment. Vinyl is perfect for plain colour designs, especially for letters and number personalization because they’re easier to produce.
Vinyl is perfect for small quantities at a reasonable price. Vinyl gives us the ability to print simple designs on just one shirt — which is something that most print shops won’t do. Vinyl printing is best suited for small orders of apparel that use simple, one-colour artwork.
Vinyl is Versatile.
With no set up fees and low costs for small quantities, vinyl is very versatile. It can be used on most types of apparel such as t-shirts, polos, work shirts, bags, jackets and more. For best results, turn the shirt inside out during the wash and then hang to dry.
How It Works
5 Different Options For Vinyl Printing
CAD Cut Vinyl
We carry a wide library of vinyl colours and specialty finishes. We prefer Siser vinyl products to ensure the best result. Finishes include solid opaque colours and metallic vinyl.
Glitter is a popular option to add some shimmer to your apparel. Your design is cut out in the glitter vinyl of your choice and adhered with our heat press. You can’t achieve this much sparkle and shimmer with any other print method, which is why glitter prints really stand out!
Foil is a one of our most popular speciality options for apparel decoration. Your design is first cut with a plotter in a special glue and applied to your garment. The foil is cut to the shape of your design and applied onto the glue with a heat press. The combination of heat and pressure seals the foil before the excess is removed. Foil is much thinner than glitter vinyl. Foil helps bring your design to life and make your prints really stand out.
NAMES & NUMBERS
For individual names and numbers, CAD-cut vinyls are a trade favourite. With only computer work to prepare files, individual embellishments can be added easily using cad-cut vinyl. Because the vinyl has a different finish then regular printing on tees, the names and numbers on team apparel will have the effect of jumping out at you.
Print-cut vinyl is for small, specific applications especially involving a full colour or gradient designs. Best applied to cotton or polyester twills that have minimal stretch and don’t require to be washed each time it’s worn, such as a jeans jacket. The print-cut will outshine the denim itself and be the perfect decoration material. Ideal for multi-colour logos like sponsors on team jerseys, or specialty work for the film industry.
